HOW OLD IS THE EARTH?

Ever since Sir Charles Lyell wrote his book 'Principles Of Geology' it is being taught that the universe and earth is millions & billions of years old. This conflicts with the word of God which states that this universe and earth is only (roughly) 6000 years old.

So...who is right? GOD or MAN?

There are many, many pieces of evidence to support God's word as it pertains to the age of this universe, which by default also destroys the evolution model's desired time. Here is one example:

Saturn's rings are made up of ice chunks. Some of these ice chunks are really big, while others are small. If Saturn was more than 10,000 years old these ice balls would have bounced off of each other making all chunks the same size. Also outer space is riddled with meteors flying every which way. If this universe was billions of years old as the Atheists suggests, then Saturn's rings would have been bombarded with countless meteorites. If Saturn was billions of years old, it would no longer have its rings.
